Miske Witt & Associates is grateful for the exquisite award conferred by His Excellency Dr. Hamood bin Khalfan Al Harthy, Under Secretary of Education for Education and Curriculum, Ministry of Education of the Sultanate of Oman. Presented on January 15, 2015 to MWAI President and CEO, Dr. Shirley Miske, the award recognizes Miske Witt & Associates for work conducted in partnership with UNICEF Oman and the Ministry of Education since 2010. The three-way collaboration enhances rights-based educational quality and equity in Oman’s schools through the Child Friendly Schools approach.

The award inscription, quoting His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, reads:

To do so, it was essential to provide comprehensive education for all and to link this education with our culture and historic traditions on the one hand, and with all elements of modern life on the other.
